Jim Nemish – 23rd Year
Head Coach
Overall Record: 359-84
Conference Record: 213-17

This September, Coach Nemish will be entering his 23rd season as head coach of the Lords fastball program.

In 2010 under Nemish, the Lords clinched their 24th overall regular season title and 13th in 14 years with a conference record of 10-0. This was the tenth time in DC history the team finished with a perfect regular season record.

The team went on to win the OCAA silver medal, their 15 th title overall and won the bronze medal at the Canadian Intercollegiate National Fastball Championship.

Under his leadership, Coach Nemish has become a legend in his own right; he has seen his team's medal every year except one over the past 22 years. The Lords have won provincial medals in 14 consecutive seasons have collected a total of 28 since 1981 (15 gold, 9 silver, 4 bronze), the most of any college in league history.

His Lords squads have posted a simply incredible overall conference record of 213-17 for an untouchable .943 winning percentage. Included in this daunted record is an all-time school record and OCAA record of 56 consecutive conference wins.

The veteran coach is the winningest coach in OCAA women's fastball history and reached the 300 career win milestone in the 2007 OCAA gold medal game. He is an extremely disciplined coach who expects commitment and dedication on and off the field from his team members, including the importance of academic success.

A graduate of Durham College himself, Coach Nemish resides in Oshawa and enjoys golf in the off-season.

Coach Nemish has developed the Lords Fastball program into one that is highly respected in the province, as well south of the border in New York, Illinois and Michigan State. The team annually travels to play against very tough US competition.

Entering her 8th year with the Durham College women's fastball program, Coach Theriault has been nearly all things to all people, as she brings a positive impact to the team on the field and off.

Rosie can be looked to for many things including on-field instruction plus leadership and team fundraising. In the spring of 2004, Theriault was inducted into the Whitby Sports Hall of Fame for her longtime contributions to Fastball and Ringette in the province.

At the OCAA Championship in 2009 hosted by Mohawk College, she was honoured with the OCAA Fair Play Award.
