CORNWALL, Ont. - A pair of Durham Lords closed the gap in Round two of the 2011 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Golf Championships on Tuesday, setting up what should be an eventful final round at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club.

There is a two-way tie on top of the women's leaderboard following 36 holes, as Tiffany Albath caught Durham teammate Kayleigh Kraemer with a Tuesday-best score of 79. Albath began Round two in third place, four shots behind Kraemer. Both now sit with identical two-day totals of 163. Kraemer and Albath are defending OCAA gold and silver medalists, respectively. Last year's OCAA bronze medalist Jasmine Paton of Georgian remains in striking distance of the Durham duo, sitting five strokes behind the pace.

In the race for the OCAA women's team title, defending champion Durham leads Georgian by 20 stokes entering the final round.

Durham's David Lang began Tuesday four strokes behind Round one leader Adrian Cord of Humber, but posted a four-under 68 to take a three-stroke lead. Lang played a near-bogey free round, with five birdies helping his cause. Lang is the only golfer not to go over par in either of his rounds.

Adam Miller of Durham is tied for fifth place with a two-day total of plus-four, while teammate David Pinkerton is in eighth place at plus-five.

Humber is still in commanding position to win its sixth consecutive OCAA men's team title, leading Durham by 15 strokes. Georgian remains in third place, trailing the Lords by six shots.

Other Durham golfers include Sean Perkins (+10), Kyle Roy (+15) and Kyle Duke (+18),.

The final round of the 72-hole tournament takes place Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m.
