COACH D TAKING PART IN A RUN-A-THON - HELP HIM FUNDRAISE!
Message from Sam Dempster – Durham College and Great Britain Baseball Head Coach
As you may have heard I have taken the job as the Head Baseball Coach for the Great Britain National Baseball Team. One of the hurdles I am trying to get over is the total lack of funding of our program. Our players must cover all costs of travel and accommodation to represent Great Britain. While they do this willingly some cannot afford to compete. To this end I am taking part in their run-a-thon to raise funds for travel and accommodation for the players. My target along with these younger players is 200 k to be completed before July 15.
If you can help in anyway 1 cent per k. 5 cents per k or whatever, the Great Britain players will be most grateful.
