Durham splits their weekend series

OCAA Men’s Volleyball: Durham defeated La Cite 3-1

OTTAWA, Ont. – Durham College earned a weekend split in Ottawa this weekend as they defeated the La Cite Coyotes 3-1 in OCAA men’s volleyball action on Saturday.

The Lords fed outside hitter Steve Clarey early and often as he finished with a game-high 15 points in the win. Dave McMann also had a standout performance for Durham as he had 12 points in the match including four blocks.

Durham’s final home game of 2011 is on Wednesday night as they host the Seneca Sting. Game time at the CRWC is 8 p.m.

If the Lords (7-2) win on Wednesday, they will move into a tie for second place with the Sting (8-1) heading into the holiday break.
