Durham loses a marathon match against La Cite

OCAA Women’s Volleyball – La Cite defeated Durham 3-2

OTTAWA, Ont. – The Durham College women’s volleyball team lost a marathon match to La Cite on Saturday by a score of 3-2.

After battling hard for four sets, Durham seemed to run out of gas in the final set losing by a score of 15-4.

For the second straight night, Ashley Mulholland and Natasha Jakovljevic were the Lords leading scorers with 17 points apiece. Mulholland finished with 12 kills and five aces while Jakovljevic had 11 kills, five blocks and one ace.

Durham (2-7) will look to put an end to their four game losing streak on Wednesday night as they host the Seneca Sting (5-4). Game time at the CRWC is at 6 p.m.
