Durham College defeated the Humber Hawks 6-1 to win the Canadian Intercollegiate Baseball Association (CIBA) National Championship in Moncton, New Brunswick. The win gave the Lords their first national championship title in the 20-year history of the program.
Dan Alayon and Jason Wiles were both selected to the 2011 CIBA All-Canadian team at the championship.
The trip to nationals came after an exciting season where Durham defeated Humber to win their second straight CIBA Ontario Championship. Durham won the regular season pennant with a 14-2 conference record.

The Lords racked up four medals at the OCAA Championship for the second straight season as the women's team won the provincial title, while the men's team took home the bronze medal. Tiffany Albath and Kayleigh Kraemer also took home individual honours, winning gold and silver respectively.
Their great success at the OCAA championships led the team to a trip to CCAA National Championship in Prince Edward Island. The Lords did not let up and continued their excellent play on the East coast as the women's team went on to capture the CCAA National championship for the second straight season. Albath also won her second straight individual medal at the championship as she won bronze. Kraemer and David Lang each finished in fourth place in a competitive national field.
