Durham College falls short of the postseason
Men’s Soccer: Seneca defeated Durham 3-2
NORTH YORK, Ont. – The Durham College men’s soccer team will be playing for pride in their regular season finale on the weekend as they were defeated by the Seneca Sting 3-2 on Thursday night, eliminated the Lords from postseason contention.
Durham falls to 4-3-3 on the year, with Seneca (7-1-2) and George Brown (7-2-2) earning the two playoff berths out of the Central East Region.
The three teams were all square heading into action two weeks ago, but Durham faltered down the stretch going 0-2-2 in their last four games.
The Lords will close out their season on Saturday, October 17 in Sudbury against the Cambrian Golden Shield. Game time is at 2 p.m.
