2011 CCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Update: Logo Contest Introduced
OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham College athletic department is proud to introduce a logo contest for the 2011 Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) men’s basketball national championship.
The winning logo will become the official logo of the championship, being held at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre from March 17-19, 2011 (contest rules and regulations attached).
The championship host committee will judge all of the entries, with hopes of the winning logo having the theme of basketball with representation of both Canada and the Durham Region. The creator of the winning logo will receive $250 as well as a Durham Lords/CCAA national basketball championship prize pack.
The national championship will feature the top eight teams in the country battling it out for the national title with the field consisting of the winning teams from each conference: British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces as well as two wild card teams. As the host, Durham College will receive the final bid in the championship.
Contest Details:
- Entries will be accepted now through March 15, 2010
- The contest is open to students, alumni, employees and community members
Criteria:
- The logo will be judged by the championship host committee
- Criteria for judging includes the quality of the logo, representation of basketball, the Durham Region and Canada
