Sheridan Invitational Results

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men’s indoor soccer team participated in the Sheridan College invitational tournament over the weekend. The Lords were in tough playing against some of the top teams in the province as they prepare for the OCAA Regional Championships.

Scores were close as the games were decided by one goal or less, but DC finished the tournament with a 0-2-1 record and did not qualify for the playoffs.

The Lords would pick up 1-0 losses to the Seneca Sting (defending outdoor national champions) and Humber Hawks (defending OCAA indoor champions). Durham picked up their only point in the tournament against the Fanshawe Falcons, as they played to a 1-1 draw.

Durham will now have their sights set on the OCAA Regional Championship which will take place from March 8-10, 2010.
