LORDS WOMEN’S FASTBALL OPEN UP THE SEASON IN ROCHESTER, NY

OSHAWA, Ont. –
The 14-time OCAA Champion Durham Lords Women's Fastball team travelled to Rochester, NY for their annual pre-season trip against some of the top teams in the United States. The Lords took on the three-time National Junior College Champion Monroe College of Rochester in their opening two games of the day.

The Lords played well in both games but fell short to Monroe on both occasions. Despite the pair of losses, Durham head coach Jim Nemish had a positive outlook on the day as his put in a good effort while giving the coaching staff a chance to get a look at everyone in the lineup. The Lords will continue their tour south of the border with another two games tomorrow before heading home for the opening games of the 2008 OCAA season.
