Lords Place Third in Opening Invitational of the Year
Aurora, Ont. – The Durham College men’s golf team had an impressive showing at their first invitational tournament of the season as the Lords placed third at the Humber College Invitational at the Westview Golf Club.
Returning player Ian Parker had a terrific round shooting 74 to finish in second place overall, one stroke off the pace. Justin Knaggs, James Hoffman and Matiss Mazutis also had impressive opening rounds as they finished 7th, 8th and 11th respectively with scores of 77, 78 and 79.
The Lords will be back in action on Saturday as they head to London for the Fanshawe Invitational. The DC Open will take place on Monday, September 22 at Lakeridge Links.
