Lords Women’s Soccer Ranked Third In Canada
Oshawa, Ont. – The two-time defending OCAA Champion Durham Lords women’s soccer team have been ranked third in the CCAA National Rankings to begin the 2008 season. The Lords have got off to a hot start with a 3-0 conference record, as they sit in first place tied with the Seneca Sting in the Central East Standings. The Lords picked up a big 7-0 win over the previously undefeated Centennial Colts last night at Vaso’s Field. That game will be featured on Rogers TV on Saturday night at 8 p.m.
Durham will now hit the road for a two-game set against the La Cite Coyotes and Algonquin Thunder before heading home to take on the Seneca Sting on Wednesday, September 24 at 6 p.m. in a battle for first place.
