Big Weekend for Varsity Athletics

Oshawa, Ont. – It is a big weekend for Durham College and UOIT varsity athletics with teams taking part in national and provincial championships, while others are just beginning their season.

On campus, the UOIT Ridgebacks men’s hockey home opener will be taking place on Friday night while the 32nd annual David Stewart Tip-Off tournament will kick off the college men’s basketball season on Friday and Saturday. The Durham College men’s basketball alumni game will also be taking place on Friday at 6 p.m.

 Here is a quick look at what the varsity teams are up to this weekend:
