DC men’s volleyball enter the national rankings
Oshawa, Ont. – After finishing 2008 on a six game conference winning streak and taking home the Fleming College Invitational Tournament title over the holidays, the Durham Lords men’s volleyball team has been noticed as they moved into the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association national rankings this week.
The Lords move into the 12th spot in the national rankings and also sit in the fourth spot in the Ontario Rankings, their highest position of the year.
Durham will look to continue their winning ways as they resume conference play on Thursday night as they take on the Seneca Sting at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre at 8 p.m. Durham (7-2) trails Seneca (8-2) by two points in the East Region standings.
All teams in Ontario will have their sights set on Oshawa as Durham College is set to host the OCAA Provincial Championships from February 27-28, 2009 at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
