Big Weekend on Campus in Varsity Athletics

Volleyball Playoffs, $1,000 Bursary Giveaway, Rivalry Basketball Games, Hockey Final Home Games – What more can you ask for????

It is a big weekend for both Durham College and UOIT varsity teams with plenty of action happening around Campus. Here is a complete run down of the events that you will want to check out!

Thursday, February 12

Rogers TV - Sportszone
Make sure you tune into Sportszone on Rogers TV at 7p.m. to catch Durham College/UOIT  Athletic Director Ken Babcock on the show!

Friday, February 13

Durham College Basketball
Durham vs. Fleming – CRWC
Women’s 6 p.m. --- Men’s 8 p.m.
*It is a battle of the top two teams in men’s basketball in the East as the Lords (14-4) take on the Knights (15-3).

UOIT Men’s Hockey
UOIT vs. Guelph – Campus Ice Centre
7:30 p.m.
*The game will be the Ridgebacks final home game of the regular season. For the second year in a row, Durham Dodge will be giving away a $1,000 Bursary to one lucky student!!!

Volleyball Playoffs – OCAA Qualifying Round
Women’s Volleyball
Durham vs. Sault – CRWC
2 p.m.

Men’s Volleyball
Durham vs. Niagara – CRWC
4 p.m.

*Come watch the Lords in action as they begin their quest to qualify for the OCAA Provincial Championship, being hosted by Durham College on February 27-28, 2009.
