The Durham College/UOIT athletics photo contest is back for its’ third straight year. The Athletic Department wants students, staff, faculty and fans to “Take Your Best Shot” at Durham Lords and UOIT Ridgebacks’ varsity events.
Each contestant is allowed to submit up to three photos of any Durham College or UOIT sporting event. The photos will be judged by Al Fournier (photography professor), Scott Dennis (Sports Information and Marketing Coordinator), Karen Richards (Web Coordinator and Athletics Officer), Ken Babcock (Athletic Director) and Lord Durham/Hunter the Ridgeback (Mascots).
Students can submit photos by emailing Scott Dennis (scott.dennis@dc-uoit). Entries must be submitted by the end of this week (March 4, 2011).
This year’s judging criteria includes: the quality of the image, representation of Durham College and UOIT Athletics and general appeal. Students can be as creative as they want.
Top three submissions will be recognized at the CCAA men’s basketball championship which takes from March 17-19, 2011 on campus. Winners will receive a Durham Lords/UOIT Ridgebacks prize pack.
